Before you go fishing, make sure your items are in your backpack. or the map of the lake or river you are fishing in, you have access to your inventory, the shop, and events. So you have your map, I normally go to Lone Star Lake in Texas as its free to fish there and I waste a lot of money on equipment because I don't really know what i'm buying, but with your map of either the U.S. There is a map and everything you need to know about that location, weather forecasts, dish species, license information, and your current trip details.
